Scott Mayfield brings more than 20 years of experience managing finance, accounting and human resources for growing life science companies funded by venture capital, private equity and angel investors. Mayfield’s previous roles include Chief Financial Officer, Controller / Director of Finance for catheter innovations (acquired by Boston Scientific), InnerDyne, Inc. (acquired by US Surgical/Tyco Intl), Catheter Technology Corp (acquired by CR Bard), Perseon Medical (acquired by Scion Medical) and several other early-stage medical technology companies. His expertise includes key participation in creating or assessing value, facilitating transactions, and coordinating integration in over 30 company buy or sell transactions. This background and experience has provided Mayfield a broad and deep experience base from overseeing finances for both private and publicly held technology companies. Mayfield received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
